Jiang Yuntai

Jiang Yuntai

(1905—— 1987) was born in Dingxi, Seoul. He graduated from Wujiang School in Longdong in his early years and then entered the higher education class of Army University. At the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War, he served as deputy commander of 165 Division and lieutenant general of the Army. 1940, Wang and Jiang led his troops to Jinnan, defending Zhangdian-Maojindu Avenue, ensuring the traffic to Henan and covering the Longhai Railway crossing the river. On September 9, he went to Pinglu County in the western section of Zhongtiaoshan Mountain to take over the defense of the 38 th Army; 194 1 May, participated in the battle of Zhongtiaoshan, which lasted for 7 days. The officers and men of the division fought bravely to kill the enemy, and more than 2,000 athletes were killed or injured in Longshang. 1June, 942, Wang Zhiqi served as the deputy commander of the 80th Army,1June, 949, and served as the commander of19 Army. 1948, Jiang Yuntai was appointed as the deputy commander of the 1 19 Army and the commander of the 244th Division. In February of the following year, Wang and Jiang revolted in Wudu. After the founding of New China, Jiang Yuntai successively served as commander of the independent 3rd Army of the Northwest Military Region of China People's Liberation Army, deputy director of the Senate Office of Lanzhou Military Region, member of the Gansu Provincial People's Government and director of the Provincial Sports Commission, deputy director of the Provincial Counselor's Office, vice chairman of the fifth CPPCC of Gansu Province, member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee, deputy director of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and vice chairman of the CPPCC of Gansu Province.
