Xinyanggang River, called Yanghe in ancient times, is located in Yancheng, Jiangsu. It starts from the Python River in the west, crosses the Chuanchang River and Tongyu Canal, and enters the Yellow Sea through Nanyang Bank and Huangjian to Xinyang Port Gate, with a total length of 69.8 kilometers, a drainage area of 2,478 square kilometers, a river width of 140 to 240 meters and a river bottom width of 70 to 170 meters. It flows through the built-up area of Yancheng City and passes through the city. Xinyanggang River is one of the main rivers in He Lixia, and its belly flows into the sea.
