The ancient victory of Datengxia
Hello, landlord. The following content comes from Soso Encyclopedia. Datengxia is located in the lower reaches of Qianjiang River, about 8 kilometers northwest of Guiping City. It is the largest and longest canyon in Guangxi. Legend has it that there was a big vine crossing the river in ancient times, which sank in the day and floated at night for people to climb and cross the river, hence the name. The river course in the canyon is tortuous, the river is swift, the dangerous rocks are abrupt, the beaches are densely covered, the reefs are everywhere, the huge waves are rolling, the river is surging, and the waves are stormy. Because of its high risk, this canyon has become a battleground for military strategists throughout the ages. The famous Ming Dynasty Datengxia Yao Uprising broke out here. It lasted more than 200 years from the early years of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (AD 1375) to the year of Apocalypse. Because of the strict garrison, the Ming Dynasty suppressed the uprising of Yao people successively. Dateng Gorge was changed to Duanteng Gorge and later renamed Yongtong Gorge. On the cliff, there is an inscription of Ming Dynasty "To Yongtong Gorge". Xu Xiake, a Ming Dynasty traveler, once set a boat in Dateng Gorge and recorded it in his travel notes. 1in the spring of 974, Comrade Mao Zedong, who was very familiar with the history of peasant uprising in China, asked about the situation of Dateng Gorge and wrote the word "Dateng Gorge" in his own handwriting. After years of development and construction, there are three unique scenic spots in Datengxia Eco-tourism Zone: Gongcrossbow Beach is located at the exit of Datengxia, named after the danger of water accumulation on the beach. There are many reefs on both sides of the strait, and underwater reefs are everywhere, spinning around and rolling back and forth, and the danger is endless. This is the most dangerous beach in Dateng Gorge. In the past, when ships sailed here, tourists often burned incense and recited Buddha. There is a Wang Gan Temple on the north bank of the canyon, which also means praying for the Buddha to bless peace. However, accidents of ships hitting rocks and sinking still occur from time to time. After liberation, after dredging, the water potential slowed down and navigation facilities were added, but it was still not suitable for night navigation. In recent years, it is planned to build Datengxia Power Station, with an installed capacity of 120kW. Here it is. Stone pheasants, stone dogs and stone drums are more than 10 miles above the crossbow beach. On the north bank of the canyon, there are grotesque rocks, which protrude out of the river and are shaped like chickens, dogs or drums. Legend has it that this is a magic chicken, a magic dog and a magic drum arranged by Hou Dagou, the leader of the Yao People's Uprising Army in the Ming Dynasty. When the Ming army attacks from the water, these stone chickens and dogs will scream loudly to inform the rebels and prepare them. When the enemy is defeated, they will beat the drums again and cheer for the insurgents who pursue the remnants of the enemy. Knowing this secret, the imperial court sent a ship of officers and men to break all the stone chickens, dogs and drums. Unexpectedly, the ship entered the gorge, and suddenly the wind was strong and the beach water roared. The ship of officers and men was overturned, flowed to the suburbs of Guiping, and rested on the river bank at the foot of the Western Mountain, which became the current Shuzhouling. The place where Dateng crossed the river was from Stone Chicken, Stone Dog and Stone Drum. About six or seven miles, there are huge cliffs protruding from the river in the north and south of the river bank, and the river suddenly narrows. According to legend, there were vines fighting together on the river, which sank into the water during the day and floated to the surface for people to climb and cross the river at night, hence the name Dateng Gorge. In the Ming Dynasty, the Yao People's Uprising Army was once a bridge against the Ming army. Later, the Ming army cut off Dateng and renamed it Duanteng Gorge, and carved the words "To Yongtong Gorge" on the cliff wall. On the other side of the cliff stone carving of "Ci Yong Tong Gorge", the head of Hou Dagou can be seen faintly on the cliff of Sifang, with complete facial features and a headscarf, which is heroic and spirited. It is said that this is the statue of Hou Dagou (the leader of the Yao People's Uprising Army in Datengxia in Ming Dynasty). Passengers passing through here by Liu and Wu passenger ships will soon be able to witness this natural wonder with their own eyes. There is a dangerous beach called Tan Lang in the middle of Bitan Capital Canyon, and there is a small market called Bitan Market not far below the beach. At this time, the river is rolling in front and the mountains are rolling behind. This is the only place to enter and exit Luo Lu Cave (Upper Cave, Middle Cave and Lower Cave), and this is where Yao people live. The terrain is towering, and the ships coming and going in the river are vivid. They looked up at the wave beach and controlled all directions of the river. Hou Dagou led the peasant uprising. He once built a camp here and built the "Emperor's Palace" in the middle of the camp. There is a turret on the side of the "Imperial Palace", with a total area of about 3,000 square meters. Later people called it "Bitan Capital", and the ruins of the capital are still discernible. The ninth floor is 10 km north of Bitan tail. This is a magnificent mountain, and Fiona Fang stretches for miles, towering into the clouds and shaded by trees. Surrounded by peaks, it is like a starry moon, which is an important strategic stronghold of the Yao people's uprising. Hou Dagou once led the rebels to fight against the enemy here. Climbing to the top of the mountain along the stone path, you can also see the castles and wells built by the rebels. A lot of stones are piled up not far from the castle, which is a weapon that the rebels are going to use to fight against the enemy. Yusidong-originated in Yuntai Mountain, Gaotang Village, Nanmu Town, and flowed into Qianjiang River via Lanzijiang River, with a total length of 3.5 kilometers. Among them, tree fern is called a living fossil of plants contemporary with dinosaurs. Scenery includes Queqiao, Lover Stone, Millennium Gui Long Small Water Pool, Longfei Waterfall and Double Lion Huilong Waterfall. The 60-meter-high Yusidong Waterfall has a tendency of "flying down three thousands of feet, and it is suspected that the Milky Way has fallen for nine days". Jinyintan-located in the middle of Huoyanchong River, the water potential flows from southeast to north to Qianjiang River. Here, there are strange rocks and green trees, high mountains and dense forests, waterfalls along the way, different drops and countless deep pools. The spring water passes through nine bends and twelve bends and goes down the Qianjiang River. The scenery includes Liuliantan, Xiangshuitan, Longmen Waterfall, Jintan Waterfall and Yintan Tengying. There are many kinds of plants, including wild flowers and fruits. On the way, Maolin repaired bamboo, and the scenery was deep. Tongguchong —— Originated in Lingtou, Xu Meng, in the northwest of the urban area, and flowed into Qianjiang from southeast to northwest, with a total length of 5. 1 km.
