Who are you afraid of?
Zhu Shaowen, the originator of crosstalk, is not afraid of poor stage name. Zhu Shaowen (1829— 1904), born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, is a crosstalk artist. One is Zhu Shaowen, whose stage name is poor and not afraid. He is a Beijinger, his ancestral home is Han Jun and his ancestral home is Shaoxing, Zhejiang. When I was a child, I learned to sing Peking Opera clowns, and once performed in Song Zhucheng's troupe. At the end of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, the poor who changed to study for ten years were not afraid of the "front face" (clown). During the Xianfeng period, Ten Idle Lotus fell into decline. Forced by life, he turned to Tianqiao to talk stand-up and sing Taiping lyrics. When he performed, the bamboo board used to beat the beat was engraved with the words "not afraid of poverty, five cars are poor." "Being poor and not afraid" is hence the name. He also carved four five-character poems on another pair of bamboo boards: "Eat thousands of meals every day, stay in the ancient temple at night, and if you don't do anything illegal, you will see the king." There is a couplet on his front door, which implies his name and stage name. The first couplet says "I am always afraid of poverty", the second couplet says "I am diligent in eating (I am eager to learn), and the second couplet says" I am eager to cultivate my heart with my tongue ". Li Zeng, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem "To Zhu Shaowen", saying, "I have lived as an artist for decades, and only gave some memories to Zhu Xiong. I wrote that Zheng Yuanhe is a great hero who is not afraid of poverty. " Zhu Shaowen often carries a small bag of white sand, two small bamboo boards four inches long and one and a half inches wide, and a small broom. From Di 'anmen to Tianqiao, he finds more than one person, draws a big circle with white sand, and then clicks on one knee, holding the white sand with his thumb and forefinger in his right hand, clapping his hands with the small bamboo board in his left hand, and singing while scattering. He connected scattered single words and three or five words together and wrote couplets, poems and so on. Sometimes, he also spreads a foot-long double hook characters, such as "Fu", "Shou" and "Tiger". Small characters are occasionally sprinkled under the big characters, such as "the way to make money", "strive for gold every day", "a thousand grandchildren Zhao Li" and "the universe is vast" He often throws a couplet: "Shu Tong grinds ink, Shu Tong wipes a pulse of ink, adds coal to Mei Mei, and explodes to Mei Mei." After the words are scattered, you either split the strokes, or interpret the sound and meaning, or quote the ancients, or involve current affairs. The result is a hard burden, which is amazing. Sometimes I sing and pass the message, with explanations.

Zhu Shaowen is one of the founders of crosstalk. His ci is like satirizing corrupt officials, which is a masterpiece in early cross talk.

Zhu Shaowen's artistic career has experienced three generations: Xianfeng, Tongzhi and Guangxu. Zhang Shouchen's article "Review of Our Artist Career" published in the 14th Series of Selected Materials of Tianjin Literature and History mentioned that "in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894), Empress Dowager Cixi celebrated her 60th birthday. 10 10, all walks of life gathered outside the palace gate of the Summer Palace to set up stalls for temporary viewing. Zhu Shaowen went and was named as one of the Eight Eccentrics ","Zhu is at the Huguo Temple. At that time, the "King Luo" (Rob Zangdorzi) hired Zhu Shaowen to perform in the palace every day. According to Chen Yinque, a storyteller in Beijing, listening to his teacher Pin Zhengsan, poverty is not afraid that one day it will snow heavily in Romania. King Luo said that poverty is not afraid of not finding a building, and said, "Everyone said that we should raise our heads with an idea and lower our heads with an insight. Today, I want to have a try. If you can lure me outside in such a cold day, I will reward you with a silver ingot. " Blinking fearlessly, the poor man reluctantly said, "It's not easy. If you leave the house, I can take you in. " Kinro said, "It's too cold to work. The poor are not afraid to say, "Don't worry, you won't need a pack of cigarettes." "King Luo dressed up, strode out of the door, bowed behind him without fear and said," Thank you for your reward! Luo Wangdao: "Thank you for what?" "The poor are not afraid to laugh:" You are not out! " To the surprise of King Luo.
