On the afternoon of June 12, 2065438, KWABENA ADJEI-MENSAH, Minister of Health of Ghana, ANASTASIA MICHAELINA YIRENKYI, Director of Department of Traditional Medicine of Ministry of Health, ELI KWASI ATIKPUI, Chief Registrar of Medical and Dental Council, and others visited and exchanged with members of the medical team of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine who are going to Ghana for medical assistance. The delegation visited the hospital's intelligent pharmacy service area, imaging department, radiotherapy department, neurological intervention department, rehabilitation department, laboratory department, cardiovascular inpatient department and Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Kwabena Ajie-Mensa, Director-General of the Ministry of Health of Ghana, and his party, accompanied by Chen Dacan, Dean of the hospital, learned about the preparations for the hospital.

On behalf of the hospital, Chen Dacan, president of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, welcomed the arrival of KWABENA ADJEI-MENSAH, director-general of Ghana's Ministry of Health, and introduced in detail the hospital's medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and foreign cooperation.

Zhai, secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, said that Ghana's Minister of Health Kwabena Ajie-Mensa and his party's visit to Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was also a reflection of China-Africa friendship. In recent years, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has sent 14 medical staff to participate in medical aid to Africa. This is the ninth batch of foreign aid medical teams in Guangdong Province to provide medical assistance to Ghana. 1 1 Among the team members, 9 are from Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is hoped that the medical team will overcome the difficulties that may be encountered in Ghana, carry forward the spirit of Guangdong doctors and provide quality medical services to local residents.

KWABENA ADJEI-MENSAH, Director-General of Ghana's Ministry of Health, praised the beautiful environment of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, saying that it would be a very happy thing to work in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During the visit, he was deeply impressed by the hospital's strong atmosphere of traditional Chinese medicine, the humanistic care of medical staff for patients and the most advanced medical equipment. At present, 45 hospitals in Ghana have carried out traditional medicine projects, which are well received by local residents. He hopes to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the future, and carry out Chinese medicine teaching and personnel training. He also extended a warm welcome to the medical team members who are about to go to Ghana for medical assistance, looking forward to their early arrival, and also brought Chinese medicine technical training to medical staff in Ghana.

Shi Yongyong, head and deputy chief physician of the Department of Anesthesiology, University Town Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, spoke as a representative of the team members. He said that he was looking forward to going to Ghana, West Africa, for a one-year medical assistance in June 165438+ 10 this year. His rich study experience and nearly 20 years' working experience in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine are full of confidence in the relay to complete this special task.
