Formerly known as Zhang Taimiao, it is located on the north side of Taishiyuan Road in Shashi. Thailand is scheduled to be completed in two years (AD 1325). Zhanghua Temple, Hanyang Guiyuan Temple and dangyang yuquan temple are listed as three major jungles in Hubei Province, and they are key protected units in Hubei Province.
According to legend, Zhanghua Temple was built on the site of Zhanghuatai, also known as Zhanghua Palace, which was built in the sixth year of King Chu Ling (535 BC). King Chu Ling especially likes women with thin waists to sing and dance in the palace. In order to slim down, many maids try to flatter the king, eat less and starve. Zhanghua Palace is also called Waist Palace. After zhanghua Palace was destroyed by soldiers, zhanghua Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt on the site of Zhanghuatai in the Qing Dynasty. The temple seat is east-west and covers an area of 8790 square meters. The temple is magnificent in architecture, elegant in decoration, orderly in hall and lifelike in Buddha statues. As soon as I entered the mountain gate, I bypassed the Lotus Pond and saw the main buildings such as the Heavenly King Hall, the Wei Tuo Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Tibetan Scripture Building and the Abbot Hall. The hall is carved with beams and painted with buildings, resplendent and magnificent, surrounded by green trees, and extraordinarily quiet. There are Tibetan scriptures presented by the royal family of the Qing Dynasty, many palace treasures and two jade buddhas presented by the king of Myanmar. For many years since the Republic of China, the temple has built a tomb tower of eminent monks to worship the spirits of the six wizards. Temple has China's first Gu Mei-Chumei, Aquilaria sinensis ancient well, Ginkgo tree in Tang Dynasty and other historical sites. During the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1875- 1908), Jingyue, a monk of zhanghua Temple, was appointed by the Qing court as the abbot of Zheng He, a fourth-class monk, and was in charge of all temples in Jingzhou, Yichang, Enshi and Yunyang. Since then, Zhanghua Temple has become one of the most influential temples in the Yangtze River Basin.
Zhangtai Temple has a history of more than 2500 years. At that time, Shatou Town had not yet formed. The spirit king killed his nephew in the political change and ascended the throne. The purpose of usurping power was nothing more than pleasure. He built a large-scale building and expanded the palace. When he is tired of playing with everything, he is whimsical. Near Zhu Gong Palace, by the river and by the water, he built this zhanghua Temple. According to the records of the water mirror, this platform is 10 feet high and 50 feet wide, and needs to rest for 3 days. Therefore, it is also called the Three Rest Platform, and the palaces and pavilions on the stage are extremely gorgeous. The audience built a clear pool with stones. This luxurious palace was unparalleled at that time. King Chu Ling often proudly shows off to foreign envoys: Does your country also have the beauty of this palace?
Su Dongbo's poem "Zhu Gong" said: At that time, the Chu people built a palace, which was as wonderful as a breath. The flying tower is 100 feet high, shining on the lake, and there are thousands of eyebrows on the tower. It is no exaggeration to say that it is one hundred feet high. This King Chu Ling is not only fatuous and corrupt, but also has a peculiar quirk: he especially likes thin waist. He chose thousands of thin waist women to live in zhanghua Palace and danced day and night for his pleasure, so zhanghua Palace is also called thin waist palace. Maids with thick waists were driven out of the palace to do menial work or put in prison. Ladies-in-waiting and ministers have to eat a lot, starve and tighten their belts in order to spoil them. As a result, many people starved to death. Later generations have a poem saying: The spirit king has a thin waist, and many people in China starve to death. Li Shangyin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, expressed sympathy for maids in his dreams.
Ze hentai blew grass, and the king of Chu was buried in the city.
I don't know how much singing and dancing can do, but I have thinned the palace kitchen to a waist.
The king's debauchery led to his own destruction. Later, his younger brother, Gongzi Bi, staged a coup. He fled to the wild, begged for food and starved to death. Later, there was a poem about the ending of the ghost king:
There is no zhanghua among the broken grass, because it is so extravagant to laugh at Wang Xi.
The soil in Taiwan Province is not dry, so it's a pity to be in a wild home.
Later, the seven countries competed for hegemony, the Chu government collapsed, and Zhang Huatai was abolished. Su Shi described the desolate scene as: the pool is empty and the pavilion is small, but the bamboo hides the fox.
/kloc-in the 0/4th century, a temple was built on the site of the ancient Zhanghuatai during the Taiding period in the early Yuan Dynasty, formerly known as Zhangtai Temple, and later renamed Zhanghua Temple. This Zhanghua Temple is large in scale, magnificent in appearance, solemn in weather and quiet in environment. With Hanyang Guiyuan Temple and dangyang yuquan temple, it is also called the three jungles in Hubei. The main buildings of the temple include Daxiong Hall, the Catholic Hall, the Wei Tuo Hall, the Finance Hall and the Buddhist Scripture Building. Every time you redraw a carved beam and painted a building, the dragon shines on the tiger, colorful and fragrant, covered with gold and silver
During the Cultural Revolution, the Tathagata and the Four Heavenly Kings were all destroyed, but a jade Buddha presented by the King of Myanmar is still there, and there are 8,000 volumes of Tibetan scriptures specially issued by the royal family of the Qing Dynasty for zhanghua Temple (now the Tibetan Museum). At the entrance of the temple stands a stone tablet in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, which records the deeds of three eminent monks who worked hard to rebuild Zhanghua Temple several times.
