After the founding of New China, in order to prosper literature and art in Jilin Province, the provincial party committee decided to create a new kind of drama on the basis of duet. 1959 65438+1On October 20th, the Provincial Bureau of Culture set up the Jilin New Drama Creation Group, and transferred some literary and art workers and two-person actors to start the creation of new dramas. Taking the traditional drama "Blue River Complaint" as the first experimental drama of the new drama, the singing problems of Xiao Sheng, Xiao Dan, Cai Dan and the clown were solved. On September 7th of the same year, the experimental performance of Blue River Complaints was successful, and 12 Jilin New Opera Experimental Troupe was established. 1960 65438+1October 2 1 performed the second experimental drama "Tao Li Mei", which was successful again. On February 2, the same year, the Provincial People's Committee named the new opera Ji Opera, and changed the experimental troupe of the new opera into Ji Opera Troupe of Jilin Province. In order to develop and popularize Ji Opera, Baicheng Ji Opera Troupe, Tonghua Ji Opera Troupe and Jilin Ji Opera Troupe (later renamed Yongji County Ji Opera Troupe) were established in the first half of 1960, and jointly undertook the task of building Ji Opera with Jilin Ji Opera Troupe.

Since then, the Provincial Ji Troupe has compiled and performed such repertoires as Moving Kiln, Bao Gong's Compensation, Selling Lines in Yanqing and Sending Grain on a Rainy Night, enriching the repertoires such as Old Man, Lady, Hua Dan, Hualien and Five Ugliness. The provincial party committee summed up the experience of Hebei Opera since its establishment, and summed up a clear policy to guide the construction of Hebei Opera: "Never leave the base, learn from others' strengths, be integrated and become a family of its own". From 1963 to 1965, he focused on modern drama experiments. Several Hebei theatrical troupes in the province transplanted and created India, Accountant Girl, Story of Fighting for Children, Night Attack on Mountain City, Redstone Bell, Jumping Horse and Whip, Jiang Jie and so on. , well received by the audience. In order to cultivate new talents of Ji Opera, Jilin Opera School also added Ji Opera. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the original experimental repertoire was staged again. From June 1978 to February 10, it was performed in Beijing and was well received. Since then, the whole drama of "Tao Li Mei" has been made into a film, which has a great influence in the country. During this period, a number of new dramas were edited and performed by the provincial, municipal and county Ji opera troupes respectively. Such as modern drama Tears at the Wedding, Between Love and Law, Spring Comes Back to the Earth, Flowers Bloom in Coptis chinensis, ancient drama Bao Gong drives the donkey, Tripartite Ginseng Girl, Tripartite Fan Lihua and so on. 1993 Jilin Ji Troupe's newly-created play "Night of the Imperial Lady" won the 4th Wenhua New Drama Award of the Ministry of Culture; 1996, the new Ji drama "Guandong Snow" compiled by Jilin Ji Opera Troupe won the seventh Wenhua New Drama Award of the Ministry of Culture; In the same year, he won the fifth "Five One Projects" award from the Propaganda Department of the CPC. During more than 20 years of drama construction, Ji Opera has created a group of artistic backbones.
