Georges seurat (1859- 189 1) is a representative figure of the post-impressionism.

He began to learn painting from the period of 1875, and later worked as a reproducer in the museum.

From 1878 to 1879, he studied in the Academy of Fine Arts and wrote many books on color theory.

1880, he returned from military service and settled in Paris.
