Ye Yusen's short stories "The Emperor Borrows Debt", "Cow Girl Powder" and "The History of Meng Yulou" were published in literary journals in the early years of the Republic of China. The 72nd issue of Shanghai popular literature publication Saturday also invited the title of Ye Yusen. Most writers of Nanshe are famous for their poems, while Ye Yusen is good at all aspects. Lin Xiangling, a doctoral student in Taiwan Province Normal University, made statistics on the articles, poems and characters published in Nanshe Congke and ranked them. Ye Yusen's total published works ranked 12, and the total published words ranked second (published 188 words).
Tang Guizhang's Selected Patriotic Ci Poems contains three Ye Ci Poems. For example, the 100-character order of Guo Ming Mausoleum says: "Rise and fall are all empty, and so are the Six Dynasties. That is, today, the stone horse is frozen, the camel bathes in rain, and tears are everywhere in Yin Ruins. 100,000 pine trees disappeared, the grass withered and the red leaves withered. The silver deer crowed and the jade turtle flew away, which was terrible. Waiting for the bright moon at that time is like a sad history. " Lament that the country is in danger. "He Xinlang Diaoshige Department", in the end, "On the 10th, the red rain in Yangzhou turned to plum blossom. Under the bright moon, it can be folded. " I deeply mourn the martyrs of Shi Kefa and express Ye Yusen's strong anti-Qing thoughts and feelings. The author has stood in the position of the whole Chinese nation to evaluate the right and wrong of the characters.
Ye Yusen also wrote Nanxiangzi, and Tang Guizhang commented that "the first film is heroic, the next film is sad, and the artistic style catches up with the Northern Song Dynasty". 19 14, Pang Linyi copied the seven laws of Niuyuqiao, changed it to "Remembering the Old Friends in Taoyuan", and embedded the words "rain, silk, wind, waves, painting a boat" at the beginning of each sentence: "There is no shadow in spring rain, and silk willows are like diseases. The wind cuts clothes and it's still cold, so the dream wakes up first. The smoke is hard to recognize, the waves and dust are eager to paint the old scenery, and Jiangnan hates the ship. " Ye Yusen and a group of social friends have "imitated Ji Sheng and become a much-told story in the literary world". Zuo Ye's words are "Rain Maru flies down the mountain in hunting days, and silk controls the peach blossom horse". The wind is strong, the horn is bending, and pieces of wild clouds are falling. The smoke fan is dumb, and the waves roll like sand. Draw a halberd and a jade to cross Ya Shuang, but the ship leaks thousands of miles. "The main theme is" it is not peaceful to stab the western border, but to prepare a waste pool, and the defenders are defeated and drunk, hunting and dying ",which shows that the author's words are short and meaningful, not groundless. "19 15 On February 4th, he and Chen, Wu Mei, Wang organized the Chunsheng Ci Society in Shanghai, and praised Zhu Zumou (No.7 Qiang Village) as a poet.
Ye Yusen also wrote some poems describing exotic customs and the world. For example, there are two seven laws in "The Return of the Pacific Ocean", including "Look at the poor and the atmosphere, bow your head and see no thunder"; "Tears flow into a red sea, and sorrow into a white mountain" is a very attractive epigram. Ye said, "Dongting, covering 36,000 hectares, is a cup of the Pacific Ocean", which is the real feeling of looking around the world. In addition, he also wrote many poems about Wenze Palace and Ancient India Palace, and wrote about Queen Victoria's bedroom in England and the court life in ancient India with strange imagination and gorgeous rhetoric, which was difficult for other poets to conceive and write. Ye Yusen is not a pedantic scholar who is immersed in a pile of old documents. His works reflecting reality are also full of good poems, fresh and meaningful. For example, "Shidianzi" "One or two people can't make a village, and the water flows downwards until the door. There are white heads on the edge of the forest, and the setting sun helps bamboo count chickens and dolphins. " Vivid image, full of pastoral atmosphere.
There are many ink marks in Ye Yusen's poems in Zhenjiang, among which Simon Zhi Zhu is the most famous. He especially likes the southern suburbs of Zhenjiang. In his spare time studying in Japan and serving as an official in Anhui, he still remembers the "Southern Suburb of Yunshu in Jiangxiang" and the "Old Tour in the Southern Suburb". During his stay in Nanshe, he invited social friends Dong and Chen to write couplets in Lingquan, Zhenjiang, and included them in Selected Poems of Nanshe, which became a much-told story. Ding Chuanjing's masterpiece "Vicissitudes" was inscribed by Ye Yusen. I love his "Longjiang Morning Tea", which describes the Longjiang Tea House in Longjiang Lane, Daxi Road, my hometown. As the saying goes, "Morning tea is fragrant upstairs in Longjiang, and Niu Ding is full of guests. I went to the bottom in the morning, too, and I smelled bad. Red stove spinning sesame seed cake, green bowl of warm pepper cinnamon pulp. Only Poxian is worried about this and can't just go into the meditation room. " With humorous and vivid brushwork, it is written that the popular Zhenjiang teahouses are mostly Muslim vegetarian teahouses, and they order Zhenjiang special breakfast noodles and biscuits.
When Ye Yusen was studying in Japan, he bought many translations of the Bible. China Modern Literature Series-Translated Literature Series 3 published by Shanghai Bookstore contains three of his translated poems, which are selected from Overseas Chinese Magazine No.2, 19 13. What is rare is that translators have both coquettish and Yuefu styles, such as the Nature of Clouds by British Shelley, with six sections and 79 lines, translated in Sao style; Teng Naisun's "The Creeping Loneliness of the War Dead", translated into Yuefu poetry, has the legacy of "three officials and three parting". There is also Longfeiluo's "Arrow and Song", which is translated into Han and Wei Yuefu style. These works prepared for the poet's talent were quite influential at that time. Couplets are a unique literary form, and Ye Yusen likes them very much. Garden couplet is his special collection of couplets. He likes to collect Chinese couplets, including 50 copies of Yi Bei and 95 copies of Shu Pu. 19 16, the "Zhang Lang tablet" in northern Shanxi was unearthed in Luoyang, which caused a sensation in the epigraphy calligraphy circle at that time. Ye Yusen bought rubbings and collected words into couplets: "A hundred philosophers became the Warring States, and seven sages became the mysterious." The collection of characters is smooth and natural, without traces of docking, and it can receive unexpected interest.
Ye Yusen learned a lot from studying Oracle Bone Inscriptions. He devoted himself to oracle calligraphy's creation, "taking pen as knife and pen as pen". Oracle calligraphy of Ye, in terms of structure and composition, pays attention to exquisiteness, the fonts are symmetrical everywhere, and the words are arranged evenly and neatly, just like a pattern. A series of "Continued Modern Famous Momo", including the nine-character Oracle Bone Inscriptions couplet he gave to the owner of Chunlan Qiuju Pavilion: "Chicken crows, climb the Tianmen Gate and watch the sunrise; Dragon, called Hai Ruo, Royal Fashion ". His Tian Yi Ji consists of 100 Oracle characters, and it is compared with regular script. Ye's achievements in calligraphy and seal cutting are not unique, but they are also outstanding. He studied Han Li and Weibei deeply since he was a child. He collected inscriptions and hieroglyphics in bronze inscriptions, and wrote Inscriptions to Fill the Empty in Bronze Inscriptions and Three Generations of Pictograms of Gold Objects. He has a lot of textual research on bronze inscriptions and Oracle Bone Inscriptions, and is familiar with the form and brushwork of ancient Chinese characters. In particular, brushes are used as knives and pencils. "Hard and soft, and Dong Zuobin, oracle calligraphy bring out the best in each other. Its lines are extremely delicate and delicate, with a bookish air. It is a more mature creation and reference for oracle calligraphy's style, and it is more familiar and harmonious than Luo and Dong. "
His single collection of poems by Oracle Bone Inscriptions is nearly 100 words. Some connoisseurs believe that compared with Luo and Dong's inscriptions on bronze and seal script entering Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Ye's Oracle bones have more calligraphy characteristics. Dong Zuobin praised it after reading it: "It's amazing to use a pen as a knife." Of course, there are also critics who think that Ye's calligraphy pays attention to combination and neatness, and it has too many decorative meanings and is unnatural. His seal script and Oracle Bone Inscriptions had a great influence on Liu Yizhi, and it was not limited to fonts. They follow their feelings from pen to knot, vivid, euphemistic and interesting. Zheng, the famous king of supplementing white, said: "Those who are good at Oracle bones inside and outside Luo Zhenyu should push Dantu to fish."
Ye Yusen's seal management is also very skilled, and he likes the methods of Qin and Han Dynasties. He copied the imperial seal in exquisite vernacular, and everyone who knew it thought it was "more in line with the ancients." 1932 was compiled into the seal of Chen Yi's water margin surname in 3 volumes. Sun Xun's Seal Carving in the Republic of China (Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House, 1994) points out that it is also "one of the pioneers who carved Oracle Bone Inscriptions's seal on the printing altar", and his masterpiece is dealing with "the seal of the sixty weeks later". In fact, most of the seals used by Ye Yusen were carved by themselves. 1939, Ding Ren and others collected Ding Ugly Robbery printed by 273 seal engravers such as Wen Zhiming, Wen Peng, Ye Yusen and Gao Jiong in Ming Dynasty, totaling more than 1900 copies.
Ye Yusen can draw. The Guide to Zhenjiang published by 1922 includes "calligrapher" and "painter Ye Hongyu", both of whom are from Li Deren, Zhenjiang. 1930 "Jiangsu Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" was held in the new hall of Zhenjiang Chamber of Commerce, and Ye Yusen also participated in the exhibition in the name of Zhenjiang painter. It's a pity that his exquisite brushwork is rare, and he is said to have written "Zhong Ling Ci" to express his gratitude.
Ye Yusen's handwriting is preserved in Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang. Xuelang Stone is a stone more than a foot high with wavy lines on the front, which is said to be a relic of Su Shi. Originally from Dingzhou, Hebei Province, he abandoned an abandoned garden in Nanjing in the late Qing Dynasty. Later, he became the president of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce and a member of Nanshe Group, and bought Tibet in Ogawa. After Nana Ogawa's death, his family presented the collection of Jinshan Temple. The above four characters were written at the invitation of 19 15 in early winter. Its inscription says, "It is like snow, not snow, but a wave without waves. Naturally written, Sichuan has the upper hand. Strong and capable, small and big. Su Shi Mi Dian, or bow or worship. " Ministry funds "Yi Mao October Lingting long book". The font is Xiao Zhuan, which is slightly commemorative and precious. This stone is now hidden in the "Four Treasures of the Study" next to the Cishou Tower in Jinshan. The tourists who climb the tower are little known.
