On February 26th, 20 16, Yubei District held a meeting of leading cadres in the whole district to convey and implement the decision of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China on the adjustment and change of the main leading comrades of Yubei District Government. The Municipal Party Committee decided that Comrade Tang Chuan should be appointed as a member, standing committee member and deputy secretary of Chongqing Yubei District Committee and nominated as a candidate for the district head of Yubei District People's Government.

2016 March 10, the standing Committee of the 17th national people's congress of Yubei district of Chongqing held its 3rd1meeting, and decided to appoint comrade Tang Chuan as the deputy head and acting district head of the district people's government.

2016 April 12, the 8th meeting of the 17th People's Congress of Yubei District elected Comrade Tang Chuan as the head of the People's Government of Yubei District, Chongqing.
