What certificate should I take to be an EHS Commissioner?
There are two kinds of certificates: safety engineer certificate and safety assessor certificate. The difference between them is that both safety engineers and safety assessors are professional certificates. The employment scope of safety engineers is wider, and safety assessors are mainly engaged in safety assessment. At present, the safety assessor is suspended, and the state has the intention to combine the two certificates into one. The name of the certificate after merger is registered safety engineer. Registered safety engineer refers to the professional and technical personnel who have passed the national unified examination and obtained the qualification certificate of registered safety engineer in People's Republic of China (PRC).
