1988 In July, he obtained a bachelor's degree in law from the Department of Political Science and Law of Shanxi Normal University. In July of the same year, he was assigned to the Political Department of Shanxi Institute of Education as a teaching assistant and lecturer, teaching courses such as political science, sociology, contemporary world political economy and international relations. 1In July, 1999, he obtained a master's degree in history from the History Department of Beijing Normal University. In July, 2002, he received the Doctor of Laws degree from Peking University University of International Relations. In July of the same year, he was assigned to work in the Foreign Relations Research Office of Japanese Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In August 2006, he served as deputy director of the Foreign Relations Research Office of Japan Institute. He is currently the director of the Diplomatic Research Office of the Japan Institute; Deputy director of China-Japan relations research center; Doctoral supervisor of graduate school of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
