What is CMMI?
The full name of CMMI is capability maturity model integration, that is, capability maturity model integration.

CMMI is the latest version of CMM model. At the early stage of CMMI (southeast of CMMI/southwest of /IPPD), SEI began to be popularized and tried in some countries and regions. With the popularization of application and the development of the model itself, deductive method has become a widely used comprehensive model.

Since CMM model was put forward in the late 1980s and widely used in software process improvement in the 1990s, it has greatly promoted the improvement of software productivity and quality, and made great contributions to the development and growth of software industry.

The basic idea of CMMI is:

Process improvement of software project is a difficult problem to solve. After the successful implementation of CMM, it has greatly improved the development efficiency of software enterprises and the quality of software products, thus improving the reliability of software products and the credibility of software industry, and making people place greater hopes on software. People hope that software can accomplish more, bigger and more complex tasks.

Realize the parallel and multidisciplinary combination of software engineering. The successful practice of CMM model has promoted great changes in engineering organization and product development. The main goal of the reform is to eliminate the inefficiency related to subsection development. In the process of segmented development, when the intermediate products are transferred to employees in the next stage, a lot of rework may be done to correct the original misunderstanding.
