Since the end of 1950s, we have successively completed1:50,000 aeromagnetic survey,1:200,000 gravity survey and1:200,000 radioactive gamma survey in all land areas. The above work has greatly improved the degree of regional geological research, solved some major basic geological problems, especially the deep structural characteristics, and found a number of geophysical anomaly areas (zones).
About 50% of the magnetic anomalies have been proved in Fujian, and a number of large and medium-sized deposits, such as Makeng iron mine, Yangshan iron mine, Datian Yindingge iron mine, pyrite mine and Youxi Dingjiashan lead-zinc mine, have been discovered, with remarkable prospecting results. There are still many slow local anomalies to be verified.
More than 700 local aeromagnetic anomalies were discovered in Guangdong, some of which were verified by Grade II and III around 1970s. 1: 1 10,000 regional gravity survey has been completed, and1:2 million regional gravity survey has also covered most areas except Tai Po.
(2) Regional geochemical exploration
1:200,000 river system sediment survey has covered the whole area. 1:50,000 river sediment survey has been completed 1 15, covering an area of about 52900km2. The sediment survey of1:200,000 river system completed at the end of 1980s analyzed 39 elements such as copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver, which provided a lot of information for general survey, basic geology and environmental geology. After verification, a large number of mineral deposits (beds) have been discovered, such as Pingdi Molybdenum Mine in Fujian, Zhengdun in Songxi County, Dalinkeng in Pucheng, Shangchang and so on. There are still a large number of such anomalies in this area that have not been verified and have great prospecting potential.
The sediment survey of1:200,000 river system completed in Fujian in the late 1980s analyzed 39 elements such as copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver, and circled 287 comprehensive anomalies. Among them, there are 3 comprehensive anomalies 173, mainly Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn and Sn, of which 42 have been verified as Grade I (36 have been discovered and 5 have not been seen so far), 32 as Grade II verification points, and1unverified points.
Based on the regional geochemical data of Guangdong1:200,000, the geochemical maps of eastern Guangdong1:500,000 and Guangdong1:500,000 and their descriptions are compiled. In the early 1990s, geophysical and geochemical remote sensing mapping in nine provinces (regions) in South China also covered this area. Through the comprehensive information prediction of geophysical and geochemical exploration and remote sensing mapping, eastern Guangdong is listed as the third-grade mineralization class with the most prospecting prospect. The geophysical and geochemical survey of1:50,000 maps of Gongping, Gaotan, Baiyun, Meilong, Haifeng, Houmen, Yingfang and Baihu and the geochemical survey of Luogang-Plain and Beiling-Shang Ping anomaly zones in Longchuan have been completed, with a total area of about 5230km2, and 20 geochemical comprehensive anomalies, including Cu and Pb, have been delineated. A few anomalies delineated by1:200,000 and1:50,000 geochemical exploration have been selected for the third-level verification of gold-based anomalies, but they are not systematic and the minerals are not comprehensive, and there are still a lot of anomalies with prospecting prospects to be verified.
There are 346 anomalies circled in the comprehensive geochemical anomaly map of Jiangxi province1:200,000 (3 first-level verified anomalies, accounting for 0.9%, 5 second-level verified anomalies, accounting for 1.4%, and more than 60 third-level verified anomalies, accounting for 18%).
(3) Mineral exploration
In addition, according to the needs of prospecting and exploration, geochemical exploration and anomaly verification with a ratio of1:50,000 have been carried out in major metallogenic belts, ore fields and deposits. Technical methods include surface magnetic survey, gravity survey, electrical survey, radioactivity survey, soil survey, river sediment survey and river heavy sand survey, which have played an important role in narrowing the target area, predicting ore bodies and arranging prospecting projects.
