It is located on the Lion Ocean in the Pearl River and is the western end of Guanglong Expressway. It is another world-class bridge project in the Pearl River Delta after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

For example, the speed limit of the South Second Ring Road is 120 km/h, and when the owner travels, he should pay attention to controlling the speed through different sections to avoid speeding violations.
The person in charge of the road administration said that 70 camera guns were installed on the whole line, of which 8 channels were photographed to monitor the security status of the channels in real time; Eight full-mirror cameras were installed at the top of the tower to visually monitor the whole bridge. The bridge has also installed three sets of radar event detectors and two sets of overrun detectors to ensure road safety. In terms of road administration, there are also five teams to arrange road administration standby stations at Dongyong Interchange, Oudao Interchange, Shatian Interchange, Huangge Toll Station entrance and main bridge deck in the northern section of Guangzhou-Zhuhai. The prevention and control distance of each team is within 8 kilometers to ensure that emergencies can arrive quickly.
After the bridge was opened to traffic, Guangdong Rescue Third Branch Company was responsible for traffic rescue. Jian Zheng, the person in charge of the company, introduced that Guangdong Rescue has set up three rescue stations in Nansha Bridge, namely Shatian, Gull Island and Huangge, and adopted the mode of "rotating to make up the position" to transport and adjust the rescue vehicles, so as to "go straight without turning around" and improve the on-site efficiency.
