Zhang (1933 ~ 198 1) was born in Leiyang, Hunan. Used to be a monk. In his early years, he studied in Nanyue Buddhist College and Kogakuin. 1952 (1963) went to Japan to study, studied at Otani University in Kyoto, and completed the doctoral program. 1969 returned to China to teach at China Institute of Culture, and won the top ten outstanding young people in China. Later, he became the director of the Buddhist Institute of the school and presided over the editing and publishing of Huagang Buddhist Journal. This magazine is the earliest special issue of Buddhist studies in Taiwan Province Provincial University. 1973 went to Japan to study again and founded Tiansheng magazine in Tokyo. After returning to Taiwan Province, he still taught at China Cultural Institute. From 65438 to 0978, Mahayana Culture Publishing House was founded in Taipei, and a series of modern Buddhist academic journals were published, with a total volume of 100.
