It can be seen that some cultures were formed at that time, so there is a reason why the study of the Yellow Emperor praised the Yellow Emperor so much, because it originated from that period and only developed slowly with the study of Laozi. At the same time, in some dynasties, it was also highly praised by managers at that time, so it was said to rise. For example, during Liu Bang's period in the early Han Dynasty, he preferred the study of Huang Lao.
What about Confucianism? When did Confucianism originate? When it comes to Confucianism, many people think of Confucius. Confucianism is a very influential cultural system in China. In the pre-Qin period, both Confucianism and Mohism were called outstanding scholars. When Qin Shihuang was hit hard, the so-called "burning books to bury Confucianism", Confucianism at this time had little chance to develop and grow, and at best it was on an equal footing with other Taoists and Legalists.
It can even be said that it was not as good as Huang Lao's research at that time. After Qin Shihuang "burned books to bury Confucianism", Confucianism suffered heavy losses and declined a lot. Later, in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, in order to maintain feudal autocratic rule, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty listened to Dong Zhongshu's suggestion of "ousting a hundred schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone", which led to the rapid growth of Confucianism.
So in terms of time, one is the Warring States and the other is the State of Qin. The study of Huang Lao can even be traced back to the period of the Yellow Emperor, so in terms of time, the study of Huang Lao precedes Confucianism.
