Zhang Weimin was born in 1955 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Now he is a full-time painter and a first-class artist (equivalent to a professor) in Zhejiang Painting Academy. In the same year, he served as the editor of Xiling Printing Society. 1986 re-entered the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, focusing on meticulous flower-and-bird painting. 1989 master's degree. Later, he served as director, vice president and senior lecturer of the art teaching and research section of Zhejiang Second Light Industrial Design School (provincial design art school). 1996 to Zhejiang Painting Academy.
