When she graduated, she gave up the qualification of insurance research and the opportunity to work in coastal scientific research units, and took the initiative to apply for network security work in the northwest military camp where information talents were scarce.

At the beginning of 2008, the headquarters entrusted Li Congna's army to develop the network terminal service system urgently, and the commander of the army, Wang Guoyu, arranged for her to write a set of underlying drivers. In a month's time, 300,000 lines of code, 100 kinds of functions, 60 kinds of protocol mechanisms and 20 kinds of design algorithms, pieces of hard bones were "chewed" by her.

At the end of 2008, Li Congna participated in the cyber security competition of the whole army on behalf of Lanzhou Military Region. In the final, as the only woman among 64 contestants, Li Congna finally won the championship with a gold medal and a bronze medal.

At the beginning of 2009, a strategic study trapped the research team in a besieged city. At that time, the domestic research in this field was limited to the theoretical level, and the mature foreign products were completely unfair to the open source code. The only reference is a theoretical textbook. For half a month, she led the team members to rebuild the simulation test environment and obtained more than 200,000 sets of test data, which confirmed the feasibility and scientificity of the self-created algorithm. In the end, this innovative achievement, which overcame many technical difficulties of 10, won the second prize of military scientific and technological progress.

On May 20 10, Li Congna was appointed as the department director. Thanks to Li Congna's efforts, a number of newly graduated high flyers majoring in computer science have been enriched. Li Congna's careful help soon turned these network recruits into "leading soldiers".
