Edward Hardvik was born in London on August 7th, 1932. His father cedric hardwicke is a jazz, and his parents are both actors. Hardvik spent his childhood in Hollywood. 10 years old, starring in his first film "A guy named Joe". After graduating from the Royal Academy of Drama (RADA), he worked in Oxford and Nottingham Theatre successively until 1964 when he entered the Lawrence Olivier National Theatre.

About Edward Hardvik, we are most familiar with his films, probably the British TV series Sherlock Holmes, which was completed between 1985- 1994.
