The casserole is a unique handmade clay sculpture handicraft in China. Its production began in Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty, and its raw material was purple sand mud. It originated in Dingshu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu Province, and was founded by Gong Chun of Ming Dynasty in China.
