Zhang Yanting was appointed deputy secretary and county magistrate of Changdao County Committee in June 2007. 20 14 Li Junjie used to be the county magistrate of Changdao county people's government.

Changdao County, named after Changshan Island, was originally a county under the jurisdiction of Yantai City, Shandong Province. Changdao County is located between Jiaodong and Liaodong Peninsula, at the intersection of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, and in the connecting zone of the Bohai Economic Circle. It is the only island county in Shandong Province.
