Shi Yuzhi was born in Luoyang on June 1963. Doctor of Philosophy, Stanford University; Master of general linguistics, University of California, San Diego; Master of Chinese Linguistics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Bachelor of Chinese Department, Lanzhou University. Life associate professor of National University of Singapore, adjunct professor of Huazhong Normal University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Chongqing University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Huanghuai College, and "Xiaoxiang Scholar" distinguished professor of Hunan Normal University.
