Jin Shengtan (1608 April 17— 16 1 August 7th) is famous for his style of writing. Say the original surname is Zhang. After the death of Emperor Chengzu of Ming Dynasty, he changed his name to Ren Rui, who called himself the Master of Lu 'an. Suzhou Wuxian was a famous writer and literary critic in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.

The verdict was on August 15. On the execution ground, Jin Shengtan asked the executioner for a drink. After drinking, he smiled and said, "cut your headache;" Drinking is a kind of enjoyment; Cut your hair and drink first, have fun! "
When the execution was just around the corner, Jin Shengtan suddenly remembered that there was another couplet with the abbot of Guobao Temple, which was "2: 30 midnight". At this time, Jin Shengtan's son rushed to the execution ground. Jin Shengtan shouted "Mid-Autumn Festival in August" to his son and ordered him to report to the abbot immediately.
When the son came back from Guobao Temple, it was time for the execution, and the father and son had mixed feelings. Jin Shengtan left such an absolute. The first part: "The heart of the lotus seed is bitter", and the second part: "The belly of the pear is sour", saying goodbye to the children forever.
It was snowing heavily when beheaded, and it was Mid-Autumn Festival in August, which was intriguing.

Jin Shengtan is aloof, spontaneous and individualistic, pretends to be a gifted scholar, is wild and uninhibited, and laughs at the vulgarity and stupidity of other literati. He studied Buddhism since childhood, advised people to be kind, tended to rule by doing nothing in Buddhism and Taoism, and had the impulse of Confucianism to join the WTO.
He deeply feels that life is just a big dream, completely illusory, fleeting, full of troubles and frustrations, and everything can't be relied on, longing for a leisurely and quiet pastoral life. He distinguished the love between men and women from other human feelings, emphasizing that it must contain lust. By nature, the ritual system of saints does not abolish lust.
He did not lose his status as a Confucian scholar, looking forward to being useful to the world, praising Du Fu's loyalty to the monarch and patriotism, and especially agreeing with Ceng Dian, a disciple of Confucius. Ceng Dian was famous for his careless career and yearning for freedom, and was praised by Confucius. Jin Shengtan hereby chooses the word "holy sigh".
Politically and ideologically, he tends to be conservative, criticizes the tyranny of the government in the late Ming Dynasty, sympathizes with the oppressed people, and even advocates that the government forces the people to revolt. However, he thought that the life and etiquette of kings could not be violated, denounced bandits, and especially hated Song Jiang, the leader of water margin.
