The Japanese film "Going Home" is adapted from the original work "Bagan Prostitute House in Sandakan" by Tomoko Yamazaki, which belongs to social non-literary works. Keiko, who studies the history of Asian women, interviewed Kyushu Shimahara and Cao Tian, which exported the most prostitutes that year, in order to investigate the situation of selling sex overseas. This film looks at the history of Japanese women in Meiji period by describing the life of an overseas prostitute, and tries to look at Japan's modern history from this perspective, and severely accuses Japan of the evils of militarism and capitalism with this unfortunate and inhuman history of modern women.
Starring: Komaki Kurihara, Tanaka Kinuyo and yoko takahashi.
