Guizhou Engineering Corporation of the Ministry of Construction was established in August 1962. It evolved from the original subordinate construction and installation team and some construction teams in Guizhou Province. 1In August, 965, the Fourth Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Construction was established on the basis of the former Guizhou Engineering Corporation. Since then, the China Construction Fourth Bureau has been called the Fourth Engineering Bureau of the State Construction Committee and the Fourth Engineering Bureau of the State Construction Engineering Bureau because of the change of its subordinate relationship. 1June, 982, after the establishment of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, its current name was activated.
