Chen dean's life
Chen De 'an (538 ~ 597) was a monk in the Southern Dynasties in China, namely Zhiyi. The actual founder of Tiantai Sect. Living in Yingchuan (now Xuchang, Henan). /kloc-became a monk at the age of 0/8, and was fully disciplined at the age of 20. At the age of 23, he learned Zen from Huisi and practiced Buddhism and samadhi. Chen Guangda arrived in Jinling in the first year (567) and lived in the crock temple, giving lectures on great wisdom, Zen Buddhism and critical eyes. In the seventh year of Taijian (575), he lived in seclusion in Tiantai Mountain, where he studied and stopped observing. In the third year of Zhide (585), at the request of Chen Houzhu, he returned to Jinling to speak the Benevolent King Prajna Sutra, and was ordained accordingly the following year. In the 11th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (59 1), the King of Jin invited him to Yangzhou, gave him a talisman and respected him as a wise man, so he was called a wise master. Zhiyi devoted his whole life to the establishment of Li religion, with 35 monasteries, more than 4,000 monks and 32 disciples, among whom Youwu and Zhiyue are famous.
