At the age of seven, Zhou Long began to study Peking Opera and Kunqu Opera, and studied under such famous teachers as Shang Changchun, Li, Li Zigui, Fu Dewei, Yuan, Xu Junhua, Wang, Xiao Guiqing, Ru, Wu, Li Fuchun, Yang Yunqing and Qu Yongchun. Graduated from the Performance Department of China Theatre Academy and the Chinese Department of Capital Normal University, he is the first graduate class of outstanding young Peking Opera actors in China.
