Fan Ceng, 65438-0938, a native of Nantong, Jiangsu Province, is a master of painting and calligraphy in China, a famous sinologist and poet. At present, he is Professor Peking University, Dean of China Painting Research Institute in Peking University, Honorary Doctor of Literature from Glasgow University in England, Doctoral Supervisor of China Academy of Art, Lifelong Researcher, Lifelong Professor of Nankai University, Doctoral Supervisor of School of Literature and History of Nankai University and Lifelong Professor of Nantong University. In 2008, he was awarded the French National Star Gold Medal. In 2009, he was appointed as "Special Adviser on Multiculturalism" by UNESCO. 20 10 September, French President Nicolas Sarkozy awarded Fan Ceng the "French Knight of Honor".
