Zhang Youqing (1904— 1942), a native of Shenmu, Shaanxi Province, was the secretary of the Beijing-Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China in his early years. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he went to Shanxi and served as secretary of the Shanxi Working Committee of the Communist Party of China. Later, he went to the headquarters in front of the Eighth Route Army and Taihang Mountain, where the Northern Bureau of the Communist Party of China is located, and served as the secretary-general of the front headquarters and the secretary-general of the Northern Bureau. 1942 in may, the Japanese invaders invaded the Taihang revolutionary base, but unfortunately they were arrested for resisting the enemy and detained in Taiyuan concentration camp, where they were ravaged. They died in Taiyuan concentration camp on July 7.
