Hello, I'm Fan Yanmei. Today, I am honored to be on the podium and run for the post of class cadre with so many students who are willing to contribute to the class. I'm running for the position of study committee member. I have been a monitor for many times from primary school to high school; Years of work as a monitor have given me more courage and initiative, and reduced my timid private considerations. I always firmly believe that a class cadre with the purpose of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress" is a good class cadre.

Of course, college education is different from any stage of education we have received before. As a school committee, we must first understand that university study is not like high school. High school study is for the college entrance examination, which is just a test paper, while university study is for work, for life and for the happiness of our life. Therefore, it requires us to know all aspects of life. Knowledge in books is very important, but good optics is not enough. As the saying goes, art bears no burden. When we constantly learn about the unknown areas we have never touched through reading, participating in activities and communicating with others, our horizons will become broader and our thoughts will be more open-minded. Isn't that what college is all about? Therefore, during my four years in college, I will study extensively and keep in touch with all kinds of new things to attack my inherent thinking, cultivate my innovative ability, improve my core competitiveness and lay a solid foundation for my future career!

Bernard Shaw has a famous saying: "Reasonable people adapt themselves to society, while unreasonable people stubbornly hope that society will adapt themselves." University is a big platform for cultural exchange and ideological collision, where talents from all over the world gather. I will continue to learn from others, improve myself, communicate with my classmates and be a studious committee member.

Finally, I want to say that I believe in one sentence: "Talk less and do more." Everyone will say and do, but only a few people can insist. I don't want to say too much, I want to do more.
