Pang is 60 years old. Pang, female chief physician, Han nationality, graduated from the Department of Public Health of Beijing Medical University (now peking university health science center). He is currently the deputy director of Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Beijing Preventive Medicine Center.

Participated in public health and epidemic prevention work in Asian Games, World Women's Conference, World University Games, Olympic Games, 60th anniversary celebration of National Day and other large-scale activities.

As the project leader, he has undertaken more than ten scientific research projects, such as the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the key projects of Beijing Science and Technology Commission. He has won the Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award and the Science and Technology Award of China Preventive Medicine Association. He was awarded the National March 8th Red Flag Bearer.

On October 20, 2009, the Capital Labor Medal was awarded by the Ministry of Health, the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products and state administration of traditional chinese medicine as a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to the Ministry of Health, and on October 3, 2009, the Capital Labor Medal was awarded the "Contribution Award for the Development of Public Health and Preventive Medicine" by the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.
