Yucheng is an ancient country of Yu, named after Yu. Businessmen from Yu Xia were all here, nicknamed "Yu Yu" and later called Guo Yu. Jade county of Qin dynasty. The Northern Wei moved to Xiaoxian County, and moved to Yucheng County in the 16th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (596). 1954 Consolidation of Gushu County (established in July 195 1 County-level Gushu Office, changed to Gushu County 1952 in August).
Yucheng County is a county under the jurisdiction of Shangqiu City, located in the east of Henan Province, at the junction of Henan, Shandong and Anhui provinces, adjacent to Shangqiu City in the east and Shangqiu New District in the west. It is the nearest county in Shangqiu city.
Yucheng enjoys an excellent geographical location and convenient transportation. Longhai Railway, National Highway 3 10, Lianhuo Expressway and Henan Provincial Highway 324, 325 and 326 run through the east and west, and Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Jiguang Expressway, National Highway 105 and Henan Provincial Highway 203 run through the north and south.
