On June 26th, Pingdingshan Municipal Committee held a meeting of leading cadres in the city. Zhou Bin, deputy director of the Organization Department of Henan Provincial Party Committee and director of the Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and announced the decision of the provincial party Committee: Comrade Hu Quan will be appointed member, standing committee member and secretary of Pingdingshan Municipal Committee, and Comrade Guo Ruimin will no longer be appointed secretary, standing committee member and member of Pingdingshan Municipal Committee.

According to the public resume, 58-year-old Hu Quan (1958) is from Puyang, Henan. After graduating from the Casting Department of Zhengzhou Institute of Technology, Hu Quan worked in the State-owned Enterprise and Information Industry Department of Henan Province for a long time, and in July 2003, he was transferred to the vice mayor and member of the party group of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province.

From June 5, 2006 to February, 2006, Hu Quan became a member of the Standing Committee of Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, and served as the director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Committee and the executive deputy mayor of the municipal government.
