Twenty-two-year-old Luo was awarded the position of "pedestrian" in the official department for the first time in the imperial examination in Chongzhen seven years of Ming Dynasty. Although this position is humble among Beijing officials, it is also prestigious because all titles and recruitment are awarded by the pedestrian department. During his tenure, he was twice appointed as the second fan of Ji Jing. At the age of 27, Emperor Chongzhen called to the Golden Hall and asked about four things: practice and reserve. Luo was promoted to official department minister. He assisted Zheng Sanjun, the minister of the official department, to rectify the redundant staff and strive to clear the government. So he violated the powerful minister, and only served for one year, and his mother died. Luo lived at home, just as Rongjiang was flooded, and there was no harvest and famine everywhere. Luo personally put forward suggestions to the magistrate to help the victims and save countless lives.
During Luo's funeral, the Qing soldiers entered the customs 1644, Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself in Jingshan Park, Beijing fell, the emperor was established in Nanjing, and Luo was appointed as the right suggestion of Douchayuan. He refused to cooperate with Ma Shiying, Ruan Dacheng and other traitors in power and resigned. Because the Nanming regime misused the strategy of "using Shandong to pacify the enemy", the small imperial courts in 1646, Ning and Fu successively fell. Tong Yangjia and Li Chengdong, the generals of the Qing army, led the troops into Guangdong, declaring that the county magistrate was the first to surrender. Fengshun Wu led the masses to meet the surrender at the border between Fujian and Guangdong. He was willing to lead the Qing soldiers and impress the local people. With the help of Wu, the Qing soldiers quickly captured eastern Guangdong, burned and looted everywhere, and suppressed the anti-Qing armed forces. Luo, Guo, He Shizhong and others formed the "Ceramic Club". In order to save one party, sell property and train villagers.
In December of that year, the child bride captured Guangzhou and the whole of Guangdong fell. The Qing army threatened to lure the ministers of the Ming Dynasty's adherents with axes, asking them to adapt to the weather and assist their new masters. Due to the strength of the Qing army, the harassment of bandits and Wu's help, all the efforts of the minister of Ming Dynasty's adherents were in vain. Seeing that the general trend had gone, Luo had to resign from office, and retired from seclusion, leaving a poem to his family: "Ozawa has been idle for several years." The leaky cauldron once heard of Ji Xiang, and now it is stealing Chen Tuan. Lonely tracks are colder than flying red claws, and when they reach Zhixun, they will fall into the stream. Since then, in the first month of Huang Qifeng, Qingyi has to take photos of each group. " This poem expresses the helplessness of the country and family.
Luo built an "Old Home" in Longyan Village, Lantian, south of Fengshuntang, surrounded by bamboo forests, with a pond chiseled in front and the back room as his living room. He has no worries about food and clothing, in order to dispel his grief over the country and his family. One year on New Year's Eve, he and monk Du Min stayed in buddhist nun and wrote a poem saying, "I am old and weak in the garden, forgetting that I am a poor man." The window is magnolia, and the furnace is red at the beginning of the fire. When it's cold, the fragrance disappears from the beginning. When it's dead of night, it's scary and windy. Behind closed doors, Pan Xin talked with the monks. "The harsh environment and sad mood can be seen. 1648 Wuzi, in any case, the Qing Dynasty wanted Li Chengdong to be the Ming Dynasty, welcomed the Emperor Li Yong of the Ming Dynasty to Zhaoqing, and both Guangdong, Guangxi and Hunan were recovered. This fact brought a glimmer of light to the legacy of the Ming Dynasty. Luo, Guo and Li Er took advantage of this great opportunity to participate actively. Because Luo and Wu are in-laws, they went to Wu's camp to mobilize Wu to fight against the Qing Dynasty and regain his sight. Luo said to Wu Shuo, "If you go back to Guangdong forever, you can restore people's eyesight. You might as well follow the example of General Cheng Dong and be immortalized. " Wu Dui said, "Duke Luo's statement is true, but I am guilty. I don't know if I can accommodate all the ministers. "Luo Yan said, don't worry, that is, I have to ask for permission to go up, and I am still the company commander of tachileik. The court appointed Luo as the pioneer and led Wu and Lai to attack Tingzhou from Tai Po. Hao Shangjiu attacked Zhangzhou from Raoping to Zhaoan, but Wu was a guy who watched the wind and steered the boat. He only verbally promised to be clear, without any action, and still held a wait-and-see attitude towards his power position.
In the ugly year 1649, Wu Dajun moved to Sanheba, dapu county, where Tingjiang River, Hanjiang River and Meitan River meet to form the Han River, which is the hub of waterway transportation, and Wu is the key figure. Luo found Sanhe and continued to do Wu's work. Who knows that Wu was as stubborn as ever, but instead helped Geng Jimao, the general of the Qing army, attack Hao Shangjiu, the company commander of Chaozhou. Anyway, he gave it back to Ming, causing the Qing army to slaughter 100,000 soldiers and civilians in Chaozhou. Luo was disheartened and fled to Shuangji Mountain in Tai Po. He bought another enterprise (villa) built on the mountain by Luo Mingyu, a native of Tai Po, and renamed it Shi Yu Temple. There is a poem called "Shi Yu Temple is a Thing": "At the beginning of the month, Yimei Shibi stayed, and the bamboo near Maosi received the evening breeze." In the fifth year of Kangxi (1666), he advocated expanding Panhu Temple in Tai Po and renaming it "Yichan Bamboo Garden". With the theme of "Yichan Bamboo Garden", he lived next to Chu Shi Huangyi Garden in the building. Li Anyun said, "Although Pan Hu Lake is not old, it is still solemn. Although Dashi is stubborn, he still nods." Luolin lives in the valley and measures the rain with the woodcutter and the shepherd boy every day. He is completely indifferent to the world. Although his descendants refused to visit, they did not enter the city for more than 30 years. Learn Buddha like a monk, and say to yourself, "Be ashamed of loyalty and filial piety, and learn nothing. Come back when I'm gone. " Later, Li Gusheng, a celebrity in Tai Po in the late Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem entitled "Pan Hu Temple": "Find a secluded place, enter the secluded peak and listen to the bell of Pan Hu Temple. The stone is beautiful and fragrant, and the niche is printed by the ancient Buddha. Escape from Zen Buddhism, live in Muchenzi, avoid land and tend to the official sector. Today, I went to worship the portrait, and the pine, cypress and crane thought of the high wind. "
After the pacification of the Qing Dynasty, it adopted the policy of appeasement, won the hearts of the people, sent a letter to seek the legacy of the Ming Dynasty, and promised that those who were willing to be an official could still be an official. The county magistrate advised Luo to go out of the mountain, and Luo wrote two poems in reply. The poem says: "Bamboo and horses welcome warm winter, and the wind blows far away from Longtou Village. Shouyang also belongs to Zhoujiangli, and it is not kind to dare to eat Wei. " "A sweep of floating air has cleared up, and several chickens and dogs have gone to the Bank of China. Taoist priests only accept the top of the lonely peak and lie down to listen to the sound of Kangqu hitting the soil. " Euphemistically express the meaning of "loyal ministers are not two masters" and hope that the rulers of the Qing Dynasty can improve people's lives.
Luo died on June 12th in the 18th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1680), at the age of 68, and was buried in Zuozao Village, Jieyang County. The tombstone is unnamed, titled "Longshan Woodcutter's Tomb", and there is an epitaph saying: "The grandson of Qishan, next to Rongshui. This is a beautiful city, but it is a treasure. High peaks stand tall and virgins are long. The woodcutter's surname has a thousand years of light. " The villagers call themselves "Mr. Wen Jie" in private. His collection of poems "Zhan Liu Tang Cuncao" was published by his great-grandson Luo Tingxiang in the thirty years of Qianlong, and was prefaced by Shen Deqian, calling his poem "Quiet Wen Ya, no false algae painting".
