How does a perfectionist who focuses on CS take care of himself?
After listening to Mr. Li Haifeng's sharing, I immediately searched for a test about DISC on the Internet, and the result was a "perfectionist" with CS as the mainstay, which was more C-like. This is basically consistent with my understanding of myself. So, how can I take care of myself?
Make good use of characteristics. When you encounter emotional problems, comfort yourself in a way that suits you.
For example, when I feel anxious or depressed, I can use ways suitable for C and S to alleviate this emotion, such as buying a gift or cooking a delicious meal for important people and feeling needed from their feedback; Or calm down and carefully analyze why I have this kind of mood, how often it appears, what are the controllable factors that cause my mood fluctuation, and whether the frequency of bad mood can be reduced by changing these controllable factors, and so on.
The process of a person's maturity is the process of sound behavior style.
When I encounter challenges in my life, I may subconsciously adopt C or S features to deal with them. However, these two styles are not necessarily the best solution. For example, if I am playing the role of a leader, I need to play my D trait, which is my weakness.
The next time you encounter a challenge, you can try to ask yourself, how will people with the four characteristics of DISC handle it respectively, and what will be the result? Choose one you want to achieve most and try to practice your four characteristics, even if you are not good at it.
