Details of application procedures and materials for studying abroad visa in Germany
German university education is excellent, and many students want to study here. Of course, applying for studying in Germany also needs to pay attention to visa processing, so let's take a look at the steps of applying for studying in Germany.

First, the process of applying for a German study visa

1. Fill in the application form and get the personal data list.

Applicants must register on the website of CIIC International Business Development Center, fill in the visa application form online, and get a list of materials tailored for them.

2. Submission of materials

The applicant has two options:

Select the time to submit the materials. At this point, he (or his entrusted representative) can go to the receiving center to sign.

(1) If the application is submitted to the receiving center, the integrity of the materials will be checked there. If the materials are incomplete, the acceptance center will prompt the applicant to fill in the materials. If the applicant insists on handing over the materials to the embassy regardless of the prompt, the reception center must hand over the materials. However, the applicant shall confirm in writing that the materials presented are incomplete, and explicitly request to hand over the materials. The applicant was told that he would bear the risk of being refused a visa because of incomplete materials.

(2) If an acceptance center has been established in the jurisdiction where the applicant lives, he can also choose to submit the application through the post office. After registering online and paying the visa fee and service fee in advance, the applicant can mail the complete application to the acceptance center. The acceptance center will forward the application materials to the visa office. Missing materials do not need to be supplemented. Incomplete materials are at risk of rejection. Therefore, it is very important to submit complete application materials.

The application materials will be submitted to the embassy or consulate as soon as they are submitted to the acceptance center. However, the embassy or consulate will only accept the application if the application materials are complete. Therefore, it is beneficial for visa applicants to submit complete, authentic and verifiable materials. Incomplete or unaffordable materials submitted will inevitably lead to delays in acceptance or even refusal of visas.

Step 3 Pay the visa fee

Applicants who have participated in the APS audit interview do not need to pay the visa fee, because the visa fee has been included in the audit visa fee charged by the German overseas student audit department. Participants in the TestAS test, purely artistic visa applicants with unconditional admission notices, need to pay a visa fee of 60 euros.

4. Issue visas

About one and a half months after submitting the visa application, the applicant received the visa collection notice mailed by the German embassy and consulate, and the applicant went to the German embassy and consulate to collect the visa according to the time specified in the notice.

Second, the processing of visa materials

Necessary materials for applying for a study visa in Germany

1, two application forms for residence permit filled out in German and signed by myself, and a statement meeting the requirements of Article 55 of the Alien Residence Law.

2. The original letter of admission to a German university (at least 6 weeks before the registration date) and the language proficiency certificate required in the letter of admission, and provide German translation if necessary.

3. Resume of German form before submitting the application.

4. German version of the reasons for studying abroad, detailing the reasons for studying abroad and the impact of studying abroad on your future career. General and non-targeted reasons for studying abroad indicate that it is not suitable to apply for a visa, which may lead to visa refusal.

5. Original medical insurance certificate: valid for at least 90 days from the date of entry into Germany.

6. Those who previously lived in Germany and held a valid long-term visa/residence permit or the expiration time of the long-term visa/residence permit was less than 6 months: the German household registration agency cancelled the household registration certificate.

7. The original audit certificate /APS audit certificate of the audit department of German students studying abroad. In some cases, it may be necessary to provide other materials and interview at the visa office.

Three. Visa processing matters

1. Applicants in China who have passed the audit interview and obtained the certificate, regardless of whether they are under the jurisdiction of the Beijing Embassy, must submit a simplified application for studying abroad visa in the Beijing audit department. Please don't mail the visa materials, and you are responsible for the loss. If I can't submit it in person, I can entrust someone else to submit it.

2. If the visa application materials (except the audit certificate) are complete, you can also submit a visa application on the day of the audit interview. After the applicant has passed the audit interview, the visa materials will be directly transferred to the visa office for visa application. Give it back to me if you don't pass the interview.

3. After the German study visa is accepted, the audit department will transfer the application materials for the study visa to the relevant embassies and consulates in China visa office in Germany. Neither the visa processing process nor the visa result audit department is responsible for the inquiry.
