1969- 1979 worked as a political teacher and concurrently taught art in a middle school in Zhengzhou, Henan.

1979- 1990 transferred to Zhengzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate;

1983- 1990 as the chief procurator of Zhengzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate.

1990- 1999 member of the Supreme People's Procuratorate procuratorial Committee, member of party group, director of complaint procuratorial office, director of corruption and bribery procuratorial office, and director of China procuratorial publishing house;

1995- 1997 the first director of the anti-corruption bureau of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
