A Brief Introduction to the Author of Afanggong Fu in Cai Guosheng Lishu
Cai Guosheng, male, was born in February 1944, and his native place is Dinghai, Zhejiang. Member of China Book Association, director of Shanghai Book Association, associate researcher of Culture and Art Department of Ministry of Culture, member of Art Evaluation Committee of Cultural Market Development Center of Ministry of Culture, deputy director of China Folk Collection Appraisal Committee, editor-in-chief of Folk Collection Series, and invited expert of treasure column of CCTV and good luck heirloom column of Shanghai TV Station. He also served as the consultant of Peking University Institute of Resources and Fine Arts, East China Normal University, Shanghai Normal University and distinguished professor.

Engaged in the identification of cultural relics and antiques for more than 40 years. He collected Zhong Ding, implements, coins and inscriptions in one furnace, absorbed the essence of ancient and modern masters, diligently studied and persevered, and transformed his calligraphy works into his own style. Calligraphy works have been exhibited in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan for many times, and have been selected into China Contemporary Mo Bao Collection and Selected Contemporary Calligraphy. Articles and works on identification are often published in newspapers and periodicals at home and abroad. Since the 1990s, he has created and published nearly 20 incisive and professional works and three sets of films and CDs about collecting special lectures, which is really rare in the field of antique appraisal, and also makes him known as a "high-yield expert".

Through continuous study, practice and summary, I have been loyal to my profession for decades, accumulated excellent technical skills, gained the attention of my peers in the professional field, and made extraordinary achievements, becoming a leader in the field of antique appraisal.

In 2000, he was awarded a member of China Calligraphers Association.
