China Communication University Radio Station was established in 1958, which is one of the three major student practice bases in our school. The radio station has been working except when the school is on holiday. The original radio station was located in a small bungalow only a few square meters in size, with simple equipment and small coverage. But in this bungalow, a large number of people such as Li, Li, Li, He Hongmei, Li Yong, Cui Yongyuan, Li Hai Xia and so on have emerged.

In 2004, due to the campus re-planning. The radio station was spatially adjusted and moved to the back of the computer center. At the same time of relocation, the radio station has completed the transformation from analog technology to digital technology. The reformed radio station has professional broadcast control room, multimedia comprehensive broadcast control room and manuscript editing room, in which the recording and broadcasting control equipment has reached the level of provincial professional radio stations.

After more than 50 years' development, the Radio Station of Communication University of China has developed into a comprehensive campus media which focuses on campus broadcasting and covers print, video, network and new media. "Big class on campus, big media stage", in the future development, China Communication University Radio Station will provide a practical platform for more media students, strive to improve their own settings, enhance their professional level, and lead the national college broadcasting.

China Communication University Radio Station has a program production center and an operation center. The program center implements the responsibility system of editing and editing, which is managed by the program director in a unified way. The function of the editor-in-chief is to manage the affairs of editing, journalists, broadcasting and production of the program group as a whole. Editors are responsible for the whole process of daily programs from editing, production to broadcasting, and work with other members to ensure the good operation of the radio station. Reporters and editors are familiar with the program, responsible for interviewing and soliciting contributions, and participating in the overall program production in the middle and late stages. After a year's test, you can compete for program editing.

There are ten program groups under the program center, namely: news group (daily news, campus through train), special group, music instant listening program group, sunshine non-holiday program group, sports stand program group, talk about it, charm six-day program group, ICQ station program group, very on-demand program group and broadcasting service department. The operation center is one of the two major centers of China Communication University Radio Station. Be responsible for the normal operation of the radio station, grasp the administrative direction of the whole station, administer the four important extension media of the radio station: the radio station, the voice of the media website, the network TV station and the network radio station, and plan and prepare the enrollment organized by the school, the conference of the whole station, the spring outing of the whole station, the Peking University Broadcasting Forum, and the Peking University Student Voice Works Design Competition. It is the mainstay of the management and operation of China Communication University Radio Station.

The operation center consists of five departments, namely: public relations department, network department, Taiwan magazine department, propaganda department and network TV station.
