Wu ("Shu" generation), the 45th grandson of Wu Xianxiu, aged 85, edited Hainan Wu Genealogy in 2008. He told reporters that the descendants of Wu Xianxiu are estimated to have spread to 60 generations, that is, the "odd" generation, and the fastest generation is only 52 generations, that is, the "benevolence" generation.

The ancestor came from the sixty-second generation grandson (a work called Ning Wu), and he was the ancestor who entered Fujian. However, there were only six generations of Fujian ancestors described by Wu Xianxiu before him, namely, Wu (Quanzhou secretariat), Wu (Luoyang order), Wu Wu Shan (the top scholar in the college entrance examination), Wu _ (secretariat) and Wu (Yingzhou).
