The professional qualification of barista is divided into five grades, from high to low: junior barista, intermediate barista, junior barista, barista technician and barista junior technician. At present, barista identification stations generally only identify junior, intermediate and junior barista.
Professional grade of barista (those who meet one of the conditions can declare professional qualification):
1, assistant barista. Have a high school education or above, have been engaged in coffee work 1 year or above, and have reached the required standard hours after formal training of assistant barista. Have technical secondary school education or above, and reach the required standard hours after formal training of assistant barista.
2. barista. Have obtained the professional qualification certificate of assistant barista, have been engaged in coffee work continuously for more than 1 year, and have reached the required standard hours after formal training of barista. With technical secondary school education or above, engaged in coffee work 1 year or above, and reached the required standard hours after formal training of barista. Have a college degree or above, and have reached the required standard hours after formal training of barista.
3. Senior barista. Obtain the professional qualification certificate of barista, have been engaged in coffee work for more than 2 years continuously, and have reached the required standard hours after formal training of senior barista. Have a college degree or above, have been engaged in coffee work for more than 2 years continuously, and have reached the required standard hours after formal training of senior barista. Bachelor degree or above, engaged in coffee work 1 year or above, and reached the required standard hours after formal training of senior barista.
