The Romance of the Three Kingdoms was re-created by Luo Guanzhong on the basis of the stories, operas and iron ballads of the Three Kingdoms in Song and Yuan Dynasties, and according to the History of the Three Kingdoms written by Chen Shou in Jin Dynasty and noted by Pei Songzhi in Southern Song Dynasty.
