Cai Zhenhua (1912.10—2006.3) was born in Deqing, Zhejiang. Good at comics and art design. 1934 graduated from the pattern department of the National Hangzhou Art Institute. 1934— 1945 worked as an art designer in fine arts, commerce, benefit, Hongye, Xinye and other units, and later became a professional painter. 195 1 taught in the municipal theater academy and the private Shanghai art academy successively, and then transferred to Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. 1954, Sino-Soviet Friendship Building was built in Shanghai to assist Soviet architect Andreev in designing large relief.
