List of ranks and grades of judges
The ranks of judges are divided into four grades and twelve grades: chief justice; Chief Justice: Grade I and Grade II; Senior judges: level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4; Judges: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5.

1. The grades of first-class judges, second-class judges, first-class senior judges, second-class senior judges and other judges in the Supreme People's Court shall be approved by President the Supreme People's Court.

2. The grades of the third-level senior judges, the fourth-level senior judges, the first-level judges, the second-level judges and other judges of the Higher People's Court under the jurisdiction of the Higher People's Court shall be approved by the president of the Higher People's Court.

3. The Intermediate People's Court and the courts under its jurisdiction shall have three judges, four judges and five judges, which shall be approved by the president of the Intermediate People's Court.

Judges are divided into the following four grades and twelve grades:

Judge rank promotion standard:

1, judges below the second-level judge are promoted within the establishment level: judges from the fifth to the third level are promoted for three years at a time; Judges from Grade III to Grade I are promoted for four years at a time. After the promotion expires, you can only be promoted after passing the examination.

2. Judges at or above the first level shall promote the implementation of the election of judges.

4. If the rank of a judge is lower than the new position due to promotion, he shall be promoted to the lowest rank of the new position.

The grades of first-class judges, second-class judges, first-class senior judges, second-class senior judges and other judges in the Supreme People's Court shall be approved by President the Supreme People's Court. The grades of the third-level senior judges, the fourth-level senior judges, the first-level judges, the second-level judges and other judges of the Higher People's Court and the courts under its jurisdiction shall be approved by the president of the Higher People's Court.
