Master Dongming of Famen Temple (1925-2003) is a famous Buddhist master. At the age of seven, he retired from Famen Temple to practice. He entered the monastery at the age of 65,438+00 and was educated by the Chinese Buddhist Association. He deeply studied the classic literature, carefully created a new Buddhist education model, popularized Buddhism with a very positive attitude, and made great efforts to spread Buddhism to all parts of the country. His pioneering thoughts and rich merits made him an important representative of Buddhism in China.
