Huaneng Gansu Energy Development Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned company invested and established by China Huaneng Group Corporation in Gansu. It was officially unveiled in Lanzhou on August 28 this year.
On March 6, 2008, Huaneng Group Company and Gansu Provincial Government signed the Framework Agreement on Strengthening Strategic Cooperation in the Energy Field. According to the agreement, Huaneng Group will invest 60 billion yuan in Gansu, and increase investment and construction in Gansu according to the development idea of "integration of coal, electric power, railway, water conservancy and coal chemical industry".
On August 9, the Ministry of Railways, Gansu Province and Huaneng Group Company signed the minutes of the meeting, and the three parties reached a consensus that they would jointly raise funds to build the Tianshui-Pingliang Railway. On August 26th, Huaneng Gansu Energy Development Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with Qingyang Municipal Government on the construction of Qingyang energy and chemical base and Changqing Railway. According to the agreement, Huaneng Group will invest 32 billion yuan in coal-fired power development and accelerate the construction of Qingyang energy and chemical base. On August 27th, Huaneng Group Corporation and the Provincial Department of Land and Resources formally signed the Agreement on the Transfer of Mining Rights in the South Mining Area of Zhengningnan Coalfield in Qingyang City, Gansu Province. At present, the Master Plan of Zhengning Coalfield in Gansu Province was commissioned by Huaneng Gansu Energy Development Co., Ltd. to be compiled by Lanzhou Coal Design and Research Institute, and was submitted to the National Energy Administration for approval by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission on September 10. There are two mines in Zhengning Coalfield, one is Hetaoyu Mine with an annual production capacity of 6.5438+0.2 million tons, and the other is Xinzhuang Mine with an annual production capacity of 8 million tons. According to the plan, the Hetaoyu Mine will start construction at the end of this year.
While speeding up the development of Zhengning coalfield in Qingyang, Huaneng Gansu Energy Development Co., Ltd. plans to start the construction of thermal power projects simultaneously in the south of Qingyang and Huanxian County, build Kengkou coal chemical project in Hejiachuan, Changqing Bridge Town, Ning County, develop high-end coal chemical products, improve the conversion rate of local coal resources, realize the transformation of resource advantages into economic advantages, and strive to build Qingyang into an energy and chemical base in Longdong as soon as possible.
