Member of China Musicians Association. Graduated from the Piano Department of Sichuan Conservatory of Music in July,1964; 1964 stayed in school to teach until September after graduation1995; 1995 10 transferred to Shenzhen Art School to teach. He is currently the sixth vice chairman of Guangdong Musicians Association; President of Shenzhen Piano Society. The State Council grants special subsidies to the government.
After teaching for more than 30 years, many excellent piano players have been trained, and a series of students have achieved excellent results in national and international piano competitions. Since 1989, 8 students have won 7 first prizes and 1 second prizes in the national piano competition; Since 1994, many students have won important prizes in several international piano competitions, among which 1994 won the second place in the "International Competition for Young People in Aitlingen, Germany" (Wu Chi). 1994 "China International Piano Competition" won the first and third place in the youth group and the China Excellent Performance Award (Chen Sa, Wu Chi); 1995 "Slavenski Youth International Piano Competition" won the third place in Group B (Di Yun); 1996 "Leeds international piano competition" fourth place (Chen Sa); 1997 piano concerto of the 1st Hong Kong Piano Competition and Yellow River won the first prize (Di Yun); 1998 "international piano competition for young people in Aitlingen" (Zhang Zuo), the sixth place; 1998 "international piano competition for young people in southern Missouri, USA" (Di Yun) won the third place; 1999 "Gina bacall International Piano Competition" (Di Yun); 1999 "The 2nd China International Piano Competition" (Di Yun) won the third place; First place in the 14th Chopin International Piano Competition in 2000 (Di Yun); Zhang Haochen was the first in the 13th (2009) Van Claiborne Piano Competition, becoming the first person from China to win this honor.
