Born in a musical family in Chengdu. Influenced by music since childhood. He began to learn violin and piano at the age of 7 and pipa at the age of 9. He graduated from the Pipa Department of Sichuan Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor Han Shude. 1986 was admitted to the Central Song and Dance Troupe (now Oriental Performing Arts Group) as a pipa soloist. During the trip, I watched various performances and concerts with the group, and studied the pipa with Professor Wang Fandi, a famous pipa player and educator.

Tang Hua's personal playing skills are skillful and expressive. On the basis of traditional pipa performance, he absorbed the elements of world music and tried new pipa expression and language. China's famous composer, Japan's famous guzheng composer Wei, Japan's Mesozoic composer Xiao Ceng Zhaozhi, Asakawa hero and American composer's pipa works all premiered here.

In recent years, Tang Hua returned to Chengdu to open her first pipa studio, and through her performance, teaching and dialogue and cooperation with other cultural artists, she continued to spread China's national music and promote the pipa culture.

After constant precipitation, Tang Hua began to express his feelings and his deeper understanding of life and music, not just the technique when playing songs.
