The reservoir is located in the downstream of Xiyinggou, a tributary of Shenshan River in Yuanping City, about 700 meters west of Shenshan Village, and belongs to the side diversion reservoir project on the Wu Yang River, a first-class tributary of Hutuo River. The designed reservoir has a total storage capacity of 8.76 million m3, which is a small reservoir mainly for industrial water and agricultural irrigation. After the reservoir is completed, it can provide 23.7 million cubic meters of stable water supply for life and industry in Yuanping City in normal years, ensuring 6.5438+0.23 million mu of agricultural irrigation water; Extraordinary drought years can provide domestic and necessary production water for Ding Xin Basin.
